Last year was Florida's year for hurricanes. I guess this year it's the Gulf coast...
Hey, let's relocate the people who evacuated from New Orleans to Texas. Sounded like a good idea at the time.
Now here comes Rita. Threatening to hit the Texas coast and right near Houston, I might add.
Do you think the people who went to Texas from New Orleans feel like they are jinxed or what?
You know what? Sometimes life just sucks.

You can't help but feel bad for the people along the Gulf coast right now. I've been glued to the t.v. for the last few weeks watching it all. My reaction is always the same....what would I do if it were me?
I can't really answer myself because I think it is something you have to live through to understand. But my thoughts and prayers go out to all the people that are having to deal with this mess.
I've been praying for all in the path of the storm, and the folks stuck in the middle of a road to nowhere. Scary to think maybe evac. is impossible anyhow!
Right now msn is showing levees spilling over again. I hope lessons are learned here to at least save some lives in the future.
I think all anyone can do is struggle to survive, and mourn losses. PTSD will definately set in for the victims. Must be incredibly stressful for everyone who just did it a month ago! Time to head for the mountains...

instead of putting it right into the new compose post section under the tab "html" in the posting/edit window
